You wired the oil pressure up to the temp?

Looks quite warm for the oil or were you driving it about for a while?

No mate haven't been driving it yet. Its got no oil cooler attached at the minute.

Thats a point i threw my old 1.9 8v in the bin so now I have no sensor to go in Miles adapter :)

Any body got one?

does the gauge fluctuate when you dab the revs? or does it raise with the temp of the water? just a little slower?

what oil gauge you got the std 205 one? have you actually plugged it in?

Yes thats the pressure switch. When you get the 8v item, stick that into the side of the tee and bung the top with the pressure switch you replaced with the tee. You bunch of turles. Plastic vicar moulding eyebrow cheeked winkle chinks. Holla x.

HaHaHa WTF was that about?! :D

Had a good day today at Pugfest, bit sunburnt. Stans 306 supercharged gti6 was fooking loud as fook!

Loads of nice motors there, pretty sure I saw Anthony sat near the top taking pictures on his ones. Wasn't too sure so I didnt say hello.

Got a nice new present for the biatch today: Cheap aswell :(

The bore before and after the butterfly is alot bigger now. Only £35

Bumper is on now and looks more like a 205. Just got to change the top mount, oil pressure sender and the engine side of things are complete.

Next to weld in rollcage and seat mounts and its MOT time

Had a fiddle with the lights etc to see if they still worked, nothing did...

The hazard switch was in the wrong plug so the sidelights were coming on when the hazards were ment to be flashing

Then every earth was shot, rear right light still doesnt work

Frigging french electrics

Bumper and lights back on, in need of a few bits to complete the front end. Then its the interior to finish off!

Done loads of work over the weekend, mainly tidying bits up and a bit of welding.

Modified the seat frames to fit Cobra seats formally Corbeau seat frames, still to fabricate car seat mounts. (Glad I ripped the old mounts out as the spot welds were rusty as fook!

Blanked off sunroof ;)

Bonnet fitted

p1010006nst.th.jpg

Wheel stud conversion (had a habit of snapping wheel bolts ;))

p1010008znv.th.jpg

Modified downpipe, glad I had 2 in the end as I 'tapped' the flange on one of them to break the weld and the flange snapped :D

p1010007pnm.th.jpg

Where do you guys get the lambda boss from?

All thats left now is to fabricate the seat rails and weld in the rollcage, install the 8v oil sender and MOT time

p1010029y.th.jpg

I welded a nut onto the bottom of the angle. Loads of pigeon sh!t for the first go but fine tuned it for the next.

p1010030p.th.jpg

Two seat mount bolts thing majiggs fitted.

p1010031byx.th.jpg

Been a bit clumsy today lol, got a bit of red hot metal from the welder in my lug hole. OUCH!

How tall are you? Only reason I ask is that I think with the rail mounted that high, I think you will struggle to get your seat low enough for the top of your helmet to be below the rollcage top hoop. You really do not want to drive it with your helmet above the rool cage hoop- rollover could mean broken neck.

About 5'11", i've angled the top bar so the seat will be sitting at an angle.

The seat has sliders and the height is adjustable. I've tried to keep the height of the rails the same compared to the OE mounts.

I put the seat roughly in place and the position seems ok :glare:
