Had my car mapped by Sandy Brown on Friday!

What a top guy he is, the car is now spot on and he cleared up a few question i had!

Car pulls alot better now and the annoying stutter i had low down in non existent!

Quick picture on the Rollers!

He done a few hours work on the rollers and then we took it out on the road and he just adjusted the map slighty!

The new graph!

158bhp at 7000rpm and 126lbft at 5500.

Thanks alot!

Yea i had it sorted in the end. Bought a Raceland for a 106 and had a custom exhaust place modify it to fit. Had a few small issues that are now sorted!

It is pretty close, but can't say i've had any trouble with it at all! And i've had the conversion for over a year now.

Thanks for all the comments!

Just a nice update.

Bagged myself a feature on the 7th October with PPC (Practical Performance Car)

Its a pretty indepth feature from the Email!

Hi Martin,

how about Wednesday the 7th.

basically we meet at Mallory park in the morning for around 8.30 and I do 15 or 20 laps to get some driving impressions of the car, also the onsite photographer will get some track pics although I must say the ones you have also look pretty good.

After the track session we head back to our workshop in Northampton where we will put the car on the dyno and look at the engine set up followed by corner weight checks and wheel alignment measurement and general check over on the suspension. and workshop photo shots

this gives us enough info to write about the car and possibly suggest any improvements etc

let me know if this is o.k

regards Troy

Bring it on!

Put my new decals on yesterday and have new headlights and indictors on route!

Also on stand at Rallyday this Saturday for Opies Oils!

What size plug/grommet did you use to plug your rear wiper?

Ohh, that sounds good. Any idea which issue it will be appearing in? I'll keep a lookout! Will certainly be interesting to see a road-going 205 corner weighted. (Albeit pretty stripped out)

As for the day' date=' i don't want to give to much of the feature away!

Meet Troy at Mallory Park, where he took it out for a fair few laps to get a feel of the car! He was pretty happy from what i can make out, he said the brakes are very good, but the car could benefit from some more front end grip!

Only got Pictures on my iPhone!

[img']http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l314/MrJackman/IMG_0042.jpg[/img]

IMG_0025.jpg

Then we went from Mallory to his workshop (Northampton Motorsport), which was a well kitted place tbh with some cool cars lieing about!

IMG_0048.jpg

His race prepped Westfield

IMG_0049.jpg

The engine from the Westfield, 260bhp!

He then put the car on his rollers, which was a single roller setup that i'd never seen before, The car pushed 140bhp, which he said was very good as Throttled bodied 106 push 155bhp on there!

IMG_0065.jpg

IMG_0054.jpg

Then the part that intrested me the most!

The car finally got weighted!

IMG_0060.jpg

The car had a full tank of fuel and a few bits inside but it come in at a total of 844kg

Front Left : 269kg

Front Right : 262kg

Rear Left : 157kg

Rear Right : 161kg

Cross : 51%

Not badly balanced !

Then the car got all wheel alligned and everything was pretty damn straight and all within tolerance!

IMG_0063.jpg

Very intresting day all in all and i look forward to the feature that will be out in December hopefully

It is an OMP exhaust. I think I sold him one of the last in the country as they got discontinued this year.
