[car_overhaul] Yellow 205 Rallye..

As normal, i got into work this morning and there was sod all to do after having me in all weekend! So at 11.45 i chucked in a half day and came home!

 

Got in and grapped a few bits to set about cleaning!

Cleaned off all the old sealent ready for resealing!

Just waiting on a part number for a head gasket and i'll be ready to get it built back up!

Autoglym engine degreaser mate!

 

It's good stuff tbh!

 

Pretty sure Sandy uses it himself!

Had a pretty good day today!

 

Firstly gave the new 205 a clean and its first mod!

Love it, but needs lowering badly lol!

 

Then back onto the other 205!

 

Wolze has stripped down most the bay for me ready for it to get sprayed tomorrow!

My nice new headgasket so the engine can get built back up!

 

Also had news from Sandy that my Throttle Bodies were complete, so gave Colin a call, sorted out payment and now they will get sent out next week. YES!

 

Its all finally coming back togeather!

Got up there around 12ish and got cracking straight away!

Evening ladies!

 

Made a bit of progress today!

 

Picked the car back up last night !

 

And my new subframe and arms turned up at work yesterday!

 

So i set about removing the old, which was a piece of piss apart from snapping a bolt lol!

Then decided it was a bit to dirty for my liking so got the power tools and elbow grease on the go!

Well chuffed! Was guna have it powdercoated, but i think i'm just guna paint it black with hammerite!

 

Then i had to slot the servo and front panel on for a nose!

Hi, just thought id have a go at something new and try and upload some pics of my 205 rallye with the same conversion- a 106 gti 16v/saxo vts 1.6 16v.
