I have also been thinking about about colour and I have now swayed away from grey and have chosen another colour all will be revealed in next month or so. Sadly I felt the grey wouldn't have shown the lines of the kit off aswell as the colour I've choosen now have to decide what colour interior to have.

I'm now home from hospital so thought I would head out to the garage to check all the parts that came back from the vapour blasters these look even better in the flesh and really happy with them so will be ordering engine parts on tues as itching to get on with the engine rebuild.

I'm well impressed with how they look after vapour blasting, do you reckon they will need sealing/protecting to maintain the finish? That engine bay will look amazing!

I have made some slow progress with the engine everthing has been measured and new internals have been ordered so should have parts in just over a week so I have made a small start on the valves giving these all a good clean due to large build up on these where they have been leaking and the use of my dads lathe made cleaning them up really easy. I will make a start recutting them over next week or so then can fit new valve springs when they arrive and shim up where needed.

Not much to report from bodyshop as they have been removing some dents on the roof due to the new shells storage battle scars over the years but they have nearly finished that and then can continue with rest of prep on car.

sadly nothing happening with the dimma at the moment body the bodyshop is doing their thing so not much to report but sadly when car is returned to me the project is getting moth balled for a while due to my bad health and being off work I just wont have strength to work on it. As soon as my health improves i will ramp up the project again. Its so frustrating as was hoping to have engine and gearbox done but health has stopped that even more frustrating is i have all parts for rebuild but health comes first.

Sadly the project has had to be put on hold for a little while due to my poor health that has been affecting me over last few months but it looks like im on the road to recovery now fingers crossed so maybe another month and I may make a start again on the car.

Before my health got worse I had made a start on the engine this included using my dads lathe to clean all old carbon off the valves as these had been leaking and I have made a start on regrinding valves into the head.

The bodyshop is doing there thing although I have asked them to slow down a bit as im in no hurry to get car back at moment as I cannot work on it but the bodyshop has informed me they are making good progress and will prob drop into bodyshop in a few weeks to check on progress.
