Edit - hasn't failed since MOT's were logged online...since 2005 maybe? Will double check later!

Just for you Daviewonder...fitted a set of Siem genuine driving lamps today.

 

Guy I know locally had a spare set so I had them off him (full set inc backings etc). The right hand side one is not quite as white as the left one, which will bug me, so I'm gonna fit a brand new set of Siem's once farmer sources them for me. Until then, this set will do the trick

 

Also changed out my speedo cable today, a mare of a job to route it up the dash, engine bay part of it was easy peasy. No more wobbly needle - hurrah! Also took the oppurtunity to take my clocks apart and clean behind them, and polished up the plastic.

Did a good long run this weekend, went to Aberystwyth and back the same day. 2 1/2 hours each way, good roads and the Pug didn't miss a beat

Last thing to do this weekend for the mo is fit a new upper dash that should arrive tomorow as theres a slight crack in mine.

 

Fitted a new 205 and GTI badge to the back again as I got glue over my last new ones.

 

Also had an Agreed Value done with my insurer at £4500 so I am happy with that.

 

MOT in two weeks time!
