I think the car is screaming for some wheel arches, especially when you fit 8" wheels....

Just ordered a new set of Matt black pro race 1.2's in 15x7 direct fit

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/15-TEAM-DYNAMICS-PRO-RACE-1-2-4-ALLOY-WHEELS-FOR-PEUGEOT-306-7J410815R2-/231063464200?pt=UK_CarParts_Acc_Wheels_tyres_Trims_Car_Rims_ET&hash=item35cc74a908

Thought the Matt black will look more subtle than the gloss versions :-)

Should be ok. Im concerned about rear arch clearance but we'll see how it goes...

Yer you might have some fun up the rear there ash. Mine are 7j, when I fitted the spacers to bring to the correct offset the caught slightly, had them turned down 4mm, can take 4 passengers now!

Mark with the track xt over in Chippenham had his arches pulled out locally.

Yeah we'll see. There's nothing in the back of my car so may get away with it.

Im on 195/50R15 already and I doubt it'll pull the tyres out much further?!

It's the offset that will make it sit out further

Yeah it's a of sticking them on. I'm have debating to leave the C5's on the back. Although may look a little odd.

Or have the rear wheels machined? Just try them and see it's normally the best way before you jump to conclusions

It's certainly an option. Will see what happens

Please can someone tell me what these arches are. I know Colin has them and people have said eBay but I contacted the seller who does not have any at the moment.

Thanks

trial fit over the brakes. im pretty happy with that, have around 8mm clearance against the suspension strut and these appear to stick out less than the C5's with 15mm spacers so im happy with that. Just cant properly see how they will suit the car as yet until I pull it outside.

Thanks! I've stuck an old R888 on one rim this afternoon and blew it up. Seems to be fine on both front and rear although not going to properly be able to tell until I drive it.

Need to order some nuts for the wheels now

Exactly what im after Is that a 15x8 ash? If so what offset did you go for in the end?

No I went for 15x7. I wanted to go for 15x8 front and 15x7 rear but then will loss the option of swapping front to back half way through a trackday which can be handy.

They were only 375 plus 25 delivery for all 4 in direct fit. Et 15.

However if you ordered 4x 15x8 I we could have a deal on both running 8's on front and 7's on the back if your interested?

car transporter came and collected my Subaru this morning. I sold it recently as it hardly ever gets used. Off to the Netherlands. Was a little sad to see it loaded up and go.

Most likely they will break it for parts, as they do with most imported RHD cars from the UK...
