Was fine, new front end soaked it up perfectly, could have hit it a bit harder really.

Tell you what, I'll hit it harder so long as you go over it the same speed as me in yer track build.

No problem, I'll just design it with 24" of suspension. :D

You know what, you fetch that and I'll hit that bump flat out just to destroy the fecking thing.

Phonecall to say some shiny new go faster parts are finished, well, they need some grinding once I take some bits up to match 'em, but 99% there...:D

Also finished some new bearings/supports to reduce friction in the suspension systems, should help small bump performance, so they're going on shortly.

^^Took synchro cones up today, had a look at our shiny new straight-cut gearset. Got as excited as a 6 year old in an ice-cream factory. :P

Still love this thing. Shiny gears because they're new or treated, or both?

Hey, the old shock oil doesn't look too bad for 2 years of abuse, sure, it's a little dark, but it's clear, not cloudy and no real debris in there either, gotta be good, right? :D

OldOil2012.jpg

I mean, even the seals and shims look spotless, next to no wear on them at all :)

Shims2012.jpg

And the new oil is just the same colo.....oh, wait, maybe the old oil was a little tired then....
