[misc_work] Still Nothing To Do With 205's...

Yeah, ground clearance is a bit of an issue - one reason why we stuck the rotary in to start with!

That and I think the pickup in a normal sump might struggle even with baffles...

New dashboard, needs a little tidying up and a brushed finish after the instruments are in but basically done:

And the only place Ed could find big enough for the airbox...

Will be drawing from the main airbox fed through the roof initially, just for simplicity and time saving - but at some point will probably have it's own feed from the side intakes.

Dash nearly sorted (few idiot lights and perhaps another gauge unless I just leave it logged on ECU) apart from a rub down and brushed finishing:

Airbox finished off:

Okay, pulling out the stops now, the rear driveshaft angle was close to the limits and we weren't all that happy with it - it would work, but I think it would wear rather rapidly.....anyway, since we've gone to this much
effort with everything else, today we bit the bullet, the rear arms have been ripped off and, for a change, instead of beating things with a hammer the welder for a while until they fit, I have a desk full of shiny billet things....biggrin.gif

We already had twin big bearing hubs, these are the same diameter bearings as we had before, they're just shallower, and further apart :D

You know how I said the dry sump tank had to go in a really bad place because there was nowhere else for it?
Well, here's praying we don't get too much of a love-tap up the arse:

Ed had fun making it though:

Maybe, easier to just buy an off the shelf one when you bend 'em than having to gear up and make 'em. They're heavier though, so we'll see.

Couple of weeks, just a few hoses we're waiting on and I got delayed on finishing the loom while I welded half the 306 back to the other half. Then some little scrote broke into it before I could get it MOT'd so been clearing that mess up. Ah well.

You want to see it with some panels and the dampers/springs on, tight ain't the word!

In fact, pretty much everything is kinda tight, and there's still some more ally/fibreglass sandwich heatsheilds to go in yet:

Bit of framework to make it easier to shape the rear bonnet/scoops, yeah, you know how I said the engine bay was quite tightly packed? :D
