Ah, so I have you to thank also.

I was chatting to Baz about moulding the Zender yesterday(he has a rear and side's). If I could guarantee that the valance would come out unscathed from the moulding process, I could be tempted :) .

Been out today fiddling to make up with my lazyness over the weekend.

I cleaned, rubbed back, panel wiped, and primered the trim that Baz supplied.

All thats left to do now is primer the bumpers and sunroof trim ready for black paint and lacquer.

Im contemplating cutting a 3rd high level brake light into the boot spoiler so it almost looks 'factory'.

I trial fitted the Zender today also. It looks great, I just need to find a suitable mesh to fill the centre.

Currently I've chopped up a L200 lower grille, but I'm not sure if I like it. I quite like the mesh a Seat Leon Cupra has, so might go down the scrappy and see if any are about.

Good work platty, where did you get that front valance from, i read on the PFC mag that it was a home made valance.

It looks great, also i dont think it looks too bad at the back for arch room, i think i'l just get away with it

with ZX arms and cutting a bit of the lower plastic arch a bit. Here's hoping :)

Cheers for the pic's mate.

Quick question, how do you get the steering arms off?

Liking the build so far, very tidy!

They unscrew, I used a big pair of grips to get some good leverage, and off they came

I think i may have started something here ^_^

I think we should all leave our interest in a zender valance for another thread and enjoy the progress on platty's car.

Thx for the pics Platty, see what you mean about the width now :(

You still going for the 205 beam option ?

I hope you decide to go for the mould. Seems to be a lot of interest, myself included. Although i can see why you might want to keep it, rather than spawning clones :)
