Thanks :D

Recently i have been concentrating on completing the cage and rear wheel tubs. I bought myself a bead roller to add some strength in to the panels...really impressed with how they have turned out, its almost like original!. I just need to press up my coilover turrets now and it'll be finished.

How come you bought the whole of the satchshift inside the car? To lift it up or is it because of the new subframe?

Mainly because of what i have planned for the exhaust manifold and system.

Think this is probably my favourite "modified" project on the forum right now. Big respect, it's an awesome car B)

Small update. I can finally say the shell and cage are complete and in etch primer!. I have started putting everything back together, seats, pedal box, shifter, engine etc. This is mainly just a trial fit of everything, will be stripped down again for bodywork and full respray. It feels good to sit behind the wheel again!!.

I still need to finish my rear beam, rear suspension, front uprights, wishbones, and have shocks made to get it rolling again.

With regards to the steering column is that purchased as is or is it made by yourself? Reason I ask is I'd possibly like to do something similar.

Always look forwards to updates on this. Looks fantastic as always

Your work is very impressive Matt. Will you do anything about the gearbox because they cant really handle all the torque this engine will produce (?). I know I have asked you before but I would still be very intrested in a drawing of your supercharged bracket.

Still not decided on the gearbox. It will more than likely be on a standard box with gripper LSD to start with. I wouldn't rule out a dogbox in the future though.

Unfortunately i don't have any drawings for the bracket. It was all made by fag packet sketches.

Thanks guys. I have made decent progress these last few months. The car should be rolling again for the end of the year...thats the target anyway :D

Fuel tank is finished. I still have the integral surge pot, fuel pump and sender unit to mount though.

Vauxhall Insignia/Saab originally. By no means are these an easy fit though....a lot of head scratching still to come ????

Is the dash available off the shelf - or have you got skills in the resin department as well...?
