would love to see the car and in action. looks like an amazing feet of engineering to get it all in.

just out of interest do you know the easiest way to set the valve clearances as when i did i knakered it up and then rushed it.

Anyhow how with marham track day on the 8th of april once again time is of the essence. Jobs to do are:

Install drysump System.

Make a road legal Loom and Fit lights indicators and wipers.

Rebuild the large turbo fit a double step seal and a custom journal bearing. (Turbo Technics)

Make a new exhaust & downpipe.

Twin bosch 044 Fuel pumps as we have been leaning out on the twin walbro 255 in the tank.

Fit a fuel cooler and re design the front radiator mounts.

Change the waste gates to allow running of a constantly pressurised system.

Fit some nice big front brake that i have yet to buy yet.

The list isn't as long as normal but with large work commitments and some big events this year as always the pressure is always on.

Is this the 205 S&P Motors are talking about? I'm taking mine there for the MOT thursday and it seemed a bit odd that it was another orange track only 205...

Some Notable progress for once. I've have finally got the dry sump pump fitted up and in the bracket took so long to make! as it has to be perfect. Its made from 10mm Plate a little overkill but i want to be able to add more things to it later down the line.

Anyhow a weekend spent in the workshop, I've been getting ontop of all the little jobs.

I have to go and finish the sump pan now :(

The pump position gives a massive amount of clearance and should allow me to lower the engine by 60mm at least if not more. I have gone for a 4 Stage pump so i can scavenge the turbos aswell.

if you are running the BE box then think carefully about driveshaft angles before lowering the engine!

I'm soon going to go to a custom shaft so I'm not to fussed :)

I've finished the sump pan and now have to fit it. I have fabricated it out of 3mm steel for the flange and the rest in 1.6mm so it is nice and light.

I forgot to grab some pictures of the finished Item with the filters install

The reason there is no baffle is that i run a crank scraper and the angle that it mounts clashes with the place you would mount a baffle :)

Are you going to run the block strengthener plate on the sump or chance it without?

I'm running a steel block anyway and the sump pan is so stiff im not going to bother. The crank scraper I use picks up onth all thee main caps and is made from 7075 alu plate

A change of direction....

Once we fitted the dry sump they was no physical way for us to reconnect all the appropriate hoses. So the decision was made rear wheel drive is the only option.

We are using and LDV pilot R380 gearbbox and a BMW E39 rear subframe. the reason we chose to go with the E39 rear subframe is because it and the 5 link suspension and is a bolt up unit that does really require a lot of thought to bolt up :)

Progress so far.....

the engine is set at 20 degrees rather than 30, how i have to make the mount up.

oh and everything fits under the bonnet :)

what's the clearance like height wise? is it at 20 degrees due to the gearbox?

yes its overdue an update I will have a little more tomorrow. The 20degrees is to try and remove some of the weight on the drivers side and leave me plenty of space on the exhaust side for the turbos but I have had to put the engine at 30degrees now due to the gearbox.

Clearance is quite good i think if you have a non auto bonnet and cam covers they would rub but i haven't finalised the position so things may get better.

could you not offset the engine towards the passenger side slightly then run a propshaft with slight angle to it? Might get funny with the gearlever so as you can tell I have not thought it through too much lol
