Very nice car..

To give some info about the SL431 rims..

The SL431 can't be bought new anymore.. They were specially made for the 309 Turbo Cup as already told in this topic.. They are very rare..

Keep up the good work..

Sander

Have understod that. I bought them for 8000 SEK. A norwegian guy called my the week after and offered me 13000 SEK for the wheels. That's when I understod that the rims are something special.

Time for an update.

The brakesystem is completed since a couple of weeks.

Have any one else fitted a "modern" dashboard in a pre -88 shell?

It looks like the dash doesn't goes all the way in. Or does it look like this in all 205's?

2.jpg

Also fitted the rear lights.

-87 shell, -90 tailgate, -91 rear lights.

Loving the brake pipe routing! What did you use to secure the P clips on the brake lines? I can't quite see if its rivets or small bolts.

Lovely project.

Always nice when you can inspire someone. But stop complaining about the snow. We have about 30 cm snow and -15C :)

Thanks! I used M4 bolts. They are almost to small but they are lighter then M6 bolts. :D

Good ideas I'll hope. :(

May i copy your idea of routing the pipes? i doubt it will be any where near as good, so being out of sight is ideal for me! :)

also as i now have the gti6 engine to replace the m16, i thik it will get a strip down and paint, inside, engine bay and outside. do a proper job of it.

super thread

Does anyone knows where this one belongs?
