Other side of the engine bay completed so the cage is now 100% complete.

Awesome build would love the skills to be able to do this myself, on a note on the colour just a suggestion how about a silvery grey colour looks great and evidently grey colours are lighter in the fact that they need less paint for full coverage.

(BMW Silver grey is one, if memory is right FORD Titanium grey or something similar)

Thanks!

Regarding the colour. A light grey/silver with wheels in a darker grey colour is one of my options.

I'll think that the colour choice is the hardest choice of the whole project.

My mirrors have now arrived to my colleague in USA. Will hopefully be in my office within a couple of weeks.

Are you going to make up some plates for the mirrors to fix to the car?.

The theme for todays session was colour.

The primer had a quite special colour. I was expecting something grey. But this one was fancy.

"The fast and the furious look" hehe....

Small cars require big tools.

Looks better with just standard black.

A little update from this weekends session.

Removed hubs, arb, wishbones, etc.. from one of the donor cars. The wheater wasn't the best. <_<

1.jpg

Cleaned the parts and also got time to paint the arb. Need to order bushes and wheel bearings now.

1.jpg

Cut out the inside of one of the doors.

3.jpg

The motivation haven't been the best lately but it's now back on top!!

4 weeks until I have vacation. So i'll hope to be able to spend much time and money in the garage and maybe maybe maybe have it's on wheels (no engine and interior) in the end of august.

Continued with the rear beam today. It was quite interesting to see what was hiding in the dark.

Your bestfriend at a job like this.

Got the beam apart much easier then we expected. Wurzels guide that can be found at the main site was a great help. Thumbs up!!!
