The end of EPC and JND - the two cars I started this with.

Fortunately EPC was resurrected in my current car DNJ.

JND we stripped but the good parts lived on in other 205's.

Tell me about it, your pic made me dig out an old hard disk and look for old pics.

These were taken after Andy worked his magic on it, it was like a brand new car back then!

Unfortunately after 2 years of daily use and after sitting for 6 months outside during a british winter, selling it and buying it back it wasn't the same car again:(

I have some photos from a BBQ at Ben's(?) parents house in Northampton and a group photo on a lake around the area but I can't find them yet.

In the same meeting/camping a photo of you swapping a beam in someone's car just before we went for a blast to the lake.

Also a photo parked next to Simes at a service station on M3/M27 back in 2004 just after I bought mine and when he was on his way to Miles to have the Mi16 conversion! I was so happy to park next to another 205 and I didn't know Simes back then.

Top quality thread sir! Has prompted me to put on my todo list what I'd been planning to do for a while - contact the first owner of my car (1990-1998). Hopefully he has some photos he'd share!

 

The oldest pic I have of my car is 2003. It's quite an interesting set of pics as it shows my younger brother with his 3 most recent cars. I took the pictures on the day he was trading in his Impreza Turbo 2000... Got a photo of with him with the old Subaru and then I got him to pose with the GTi - I'd bought it off him the year before as a cheap runaround (I'd run Renault Turbos in the 90s and seen off a GTi or 2 from the lights in my time... no doubt the Pug is the better drivers car though!). The final pic shows him chuffed to bits with his brand new world rally blue STi. You may also notice that car in my current signature

 

I've also asked my bro to see if he has any older pics of the GTi, will post if any turn up.
