Hi all, here is the start of my gti-6 trackcar project. There is loads to do but at last i have the car in the garage and the strip down has begun.

309 front arb

gti-6 front brakes

406 master cylinder

willwood bias valve

6 point harnesses

cobra monaco seats

omp strutbrace

fia kill switch

 

plus loads of bits and bobs lol

its gonna be fun, got to buy the suspension now and tidy up the bits of rot on the front and engine bay, then drop all the suspension front and back

and fit all the new stuff

Are you going to be painting the light weight panels or leaving them as they are? a multi coloured gti :lol:

Are you going to be painting the light weight panels or leaving them as they are? a multi coloured gti :)

 

 

will be keeping the original doors and bootlid, when the car gets painted it will be a diffrent colour :)

dont think it will be pink lol, dont know yet maybe gulf colours, light blue with a orange stripe over the bonnet roof and bootlid

My beam mount kit turned up this morning, get to work over the weekend and get the beam painted and fitted.

Spent most of the day working on the pug today, big thanks to spiky for taking my loom to mate to the gti-6 engine loom and helping

with the car and blowing up my hoover ;)

 

before i started stripping the black paint that was lovingly painted on with what was probably a stick lol

had to grind of the bolts for the front bumper that were rusted on
