  1. Hi guys, I am looking for some guidance on how to remove the rear slated boot trim to replace it with a reflective one I got with the car. I've heard you have to remove the badges where the clips are and slide it down? Just looking for some detailed help, as I am pretty much clueless with anything.. lol Many thanks Stu
  2. I just bought my 205 CTI and the light behind the speedometer isn't working so of course I want to change it. Problem is that I don't know how to get the dashboard off without breaking anything. I've searched the forums but haven't found a detailed description about how it is mounted. So if anyone have any pictures or could describe it well it'd be appreciated!
  3. It's been interesting noting the difference in between the price of carbon fiber material, and the price of carbon composite body panels. Just what exactly is involved, and how hard is it to do. By the looks of it, not all that hard. Time consuming though, very time consuming. I understood roughly how to make a mould, and do wet layup, but not vacuum bagging. With all the chatter on the other carbon parts, and the know how / DIY attitude on here..i don't think it's beyond quite a few of you to do this yourselves. Granted these videos are promoting this company and their products, but.. they are still extremely informative. Part 1 - making the mould Part 2 - making the skins Part 3 - how to do fixings and bond the two together. But then with a bit more investigation i found guys who have built their own autoclaves to do prepreg, using old kitchen hobs and insulated boxes, then low temp pre-preg carbon (circa 80-110 deg) All very interesting, cameron i'm thinking of you here... or perhaps rippthrough.
  4. Can anyone tell me which part/bulbs/lights are responsible for lighting up the instrument panel. After some surgery on mine to repair a few things it won't light up. It's difficult to stick to the speed limit when driving in the dark with a broken instrument panel. Cheers, Gav
