  • Short Description I've mostly restored this car. Well, a friend has with me giving the occasional hand. It's mechanically as new and rust free. Optically it's not all there yet. It's meant as a fast cruiser, a car for fun trips and for driving holidays. It is not intended as a track toy or as a garage queen. It was my intention to keep it as stock-looking as possible.
  • Car Type / Usage Road car
  • Engine & Gearbox XU10J2TE from a Lancia Zeta plus a BE1 gearbox from a 1.9 GTi, with a 5th gear swapped in from a D_Turbo for better Autobahn cruising. Injectors from a Volvo S80, intercooler from a BMW 730d/530d (e38/e39). No tune though.
  • Suspension & Steering GTi subframe, PS with PS pump from a Saxo. Bilstein B6 front and back plus Eibach springs (from a 206 so barely lowered)
  • Brakes 307 discs up front, discs in the back
  • Wheels & Tyres Standard 15" Speedlines with Michelin Pilot Sport 3 SP3 tires
  • Bodywork & Exterior Standard
  • Interior & ICE Heated seats, cruise control, immobilizer, remote locks, DAB+ radio (using the original antenna)
  • Comments & Plans New convertible top. Maybe a respray. NEW DOOR/SIDE WINDOW RUBBERS! (Nurburgring picture shows the old suspension)
