Dave G 0 Posted November 23, 2008 just a quick one, is there number types of clutch cable, have a new on that came with my gti but need to do one on my diesel tomorrow(spent all weekend driving with no clutch and though since i have the part in the gti at work i might fit that if its good for it? thanks guys yet again Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
pug_ham 240 3 Cars Posted November 25, 2008 It all depends on the age of the car & the gearbox type. If its a Be1 (reverse next to first) it should fit OK but if its a BE3 (reverse behind 5th) there are two different types apparently that differ at the bulkhead end. Graham.
