I recently bought a set of 45's and this is the linkage that came with it:

Looks like its been cut and shut (badly i might add ) what should they look like and where do they fix?

It looks like one I had except its been bent...

I'm not 100% but mine had a plate that bolted to the carbs then the linkage bolted to that. Looks like its been squished, maybe so it will bolt straight onto the carbs?

Yeah that sounds very likely, a couple of the pins that hold the top on the carb have large washers on them and funnily enough match the pitch of the holes on my fubar'd bracket..

Looks like making a 'chassis' to bolt to the carb, and then bolt the linkage to that then..

Those pics are ace mate, they'll help loads!

Has anyone got any up close pics of this type of linkage or the bracket it bolts too?

I also removed one spring as it was so tight it broke the pedal connector for the accelerator cable!

You can buy the bracket for less than £10 if it helps.

Thats brilliant mate thanks!

Being as though my linkage has been modified anyhow ill see about fab'ing up a couple of mounting tags as per your setup; im running Dellorto's so it'l lbe slightly different to the WEber setup, but it looks the same linkage bar the mounting lugs.

Many thanks dude!

Id be interested to see if anyone has a Dellorto setup too?
