Is This My Heater Motor Resistor?

Recommended Posts

Atari Boy

Sorry, but I don’t want to fiddle with anything unless it is the right bit.

Is this a heater motor resistor?

I might try and pick another one from a scrappy tomorrow, are there different types?

Are there other Pugs/Citroens that share the part?

Thanks

Jonny

there unique to 205's, and im sure, 309's as well. has yours packed up then? if you remove it theres a little metal disc held in with a tab. cleaning the tab and the disc usually kicks them back into life again. failing that, gsf do them for around 20 quid iirc.

My heater currently changes speed randomly. The blower's been swapped with a known good one to cure a nasty squeak and I gave it a bit of grease too. Will swapping the resistor cure the random speed changes? I thought it was the actual dial that could be knackered?
