Personally I have used Kenwood, Alpine, and JBL ranging from £30ish to £50ish per pair. They have mainly just been two way coaxials (sp) with an input of 30 Wrms to max input 120watts using amplifiers ranging from 20W rms/channel to 30W rms/per channel. I have always been more than happy with this type of set up and a good Alpine/Kenwood sometimes new four way amp can be bought for less than £100 on ebay plus the cable say £10. So for less than £200 you could do all four corners then just need to add a sub if you want a bit of bass.
