wasn't sure if it would look ok with black wheels but i'm glad i done them black now.

Quigs

The wheels look a hundred thousand times better black, good choice. Agree with you on the black arches aswell instead of white, would look funny with the black wheels.

glacier white is much nicer fair play, prefer the dimma turbs. if you dont mind me asking how much on a estimate for all over paint job? pm me that if you dont want anyone else to see mate.

i prefer the Glacier white too, when we mixed the paint it has got a bit of blue, yellow and black in it.

Well my place where i work would charge you around £1000 :( but if you stripped the car for us it would be cheaper, mine cost me the great sum of £0, well had to fit a exhaust on the painters car ;) perk's of the job.

Cheers, thats main reason why i done the arch's black just thought would look odd and it was easier, :(

i will update later tonight.

Looks really nice mate.

Mines in to be painted this week (waiting for my mate with the trailer to take it there) Its Alpine White at the mo, but going to go a more white than creamy.

Guy whos painting it said Nissan Skyline is a nice white, but not seen it yet. That Glacier looks nice though.

Espen on here has an amazing white gti. Which he says is just straight / base white, no other colours added in.

£1000 sounds very cheap for a total respray inc stripping (as you say it would be cheaper if pre stripped). I know yours is cheap obviously as its your work.

Only thing im not to sure on is the painted trims ;)

Good work though mate !

right up date.

Bonnet is fitted and all the accessories too.

Photo0317.jpg

Photo0316.jpg

also rear window in and fitted.

Photo0314.jpg

Photo0318.jpg

i am still waiting for my tyres to turn up so i can fit the rear wheels.

just got to fit the rev counter converter and turbo timer then she is all ready for MOT.

Took it for a spin during the day aswell but had a slight problem, boosted nicely then lost all boost. :) Had a quick look under the bonnet and could see anything obvious, so was going to change the actuator to see if that was the problem. But before i done that i had another look round the engine bay and noticed a boost pipe had come off, i didn't see it before as it was still inline. Anyway i but the pipe back on and all sorted now, boosting fine :D

Another pic of the car for you all.

I have fitted the rev counter converter courtesy off Spiky, Thanks.

well i've gotta sort out the lights, think i got an earth problem. The n/s driving light comes on dim when i switch to dim low beam and the n/s headlight goes a bit dim too.

also loosing boost, so prob a boost leak some where.

That's something I've thought of in the past. Would like to get some spare old ones and have a practice, as I don't think it will be too easy to get inside them to remove the orange reflector without causing damage.

In the pics above though, I suspect Quiggs has used a flash and it's bounced off the reflector. Clear lenses don't usually look as orange as that.

I hope i can too, still got to get a MOT, tax it and insure it :)

So to be honest it aint looking good for the 28th, but i will try.

As for the indicators, GLPoomobile is more than likely right, the indicators don't look that orange.

as you can see in this photo.
