i did check the price for new seats and these ones should be about £170 each.

And the rest....they are around £700 for two with the mounts. I just sold mine for £600 second hand

GT uses 283 by 26mm discs and Bosch calipers, GTi uses 302 by 26 discs and Teves calipers :)

GT is the THP 150, EP6DT.

GTi is the THP 175, EP6DTS.

most of the range bar the TU3 engined models used the same 283 discs and Bosch calipers,

I wouldn't go for black on a white Dimma  . Black Speedlines look good on white GTIs because you've already got the black arches and trim etc anway. On the Dimma you don't have that trim so there's nothing breaking up the lines, so having black alloys will leave them lost in the arches.

If you've got to colour them, spray them the same white as the shell.

I haven't commented in a while, but I've been keeping an eye on your progress

All looks to be going well, are you getting excited?

Oh, and get that overspray off the tank and fuel pipes :DB)

can't wait till it's done to be honest, still a lot of work to be done.

i will get the overspray off when the car has been painted, will stone chip all the arch's and underside when the car has been painted. (will use black stone chip)

Yeah helps alot working in a body shop, the paint work has only cost me the paint, one of the painters done it for me for the price of £0

as for the master cylinder i'm going to keep the original one for now as i've heard the only difference is that you get a little bit more travel in the pedal.

thanks for all the comments.
