Changing The "metal Pipe"

My old gti used a full rubber one from a 405 i think, problem was it flaped around a little an eventualy had a chunk worn out by the tire...

That happened on my mates 205 with a BX hose, I've just replaced it with a full set of BBM hoses with a Peugeot metal pipe but this time I have painted the metal pipe in the hope it will last a decent length of time...

I replaced the existing fixings with captive nuts on mine.

basicaly a nut in a cage that squashes tight when you tighten the screw.

A bit like a wall plug but for machine screws!
