Recommended Oil - Peugeot 205 Gti 1991

Hi All,

 

I am sure this has been well documented in the past but the search function appears to be down (for me at least).

 

What do you guys recommend? And out of interest, what did the cars originally run from new?

10W40 semi-synthetic should be fine for road and occasional track use

they ran 15w 40 from factory in the uk

 

i like millers but each to their own, its a bit of a trial and error situation the same with none o/e oil filters, some people use them but others warn away

Thanks, I just realised that Castrol Magnitec is avaliable in 15w40 (I thought they only did 10w40).

I know its not a 205 but my old Clio really didn't like Magnatec compared to normal oil. Never known why.
