What Engine Is This The Code For

i'm looking at buying an engine

the code for it is EW10

whats it out of?

could be anythign, it'll be the EW series engine that has superseeded the XU range, si itll be out of a 206 307 407 etc, probably 138bhp.

can be done, someone asked about the 206 gti180 a few days ago, this is also an EW engine.

 

it seems to be a far superior evolution of the alloy blocked XU's.

It can be done yes, hilgie has done one iirc but for a similar amount of work you could just have a v6, i know which one i'd want!!

The EW cranks are similar/same as XU, but the other internals are proving to be chocolate. It seems Peugeot have tried to design/build a Japanese style engine without developing it fully! The XU, currently, IMO, is still a better engine overall.
