The luxury of having multiple booths! :)

You'll need to upload your pics to a hosting site. Photobucket is a well known one, but there are many others. When that's done, you can insert them into your post by using the "Insert Image" button above, and paste in the pictures URL.

Make sure you keep the sizes within the rules and regs though (<800x600, and < 120k file size) If you have lost of similar images, post up a few and simply link to the rest :)

at the risk of upsetting some radical purists ; it would be a crime not do the ph2 lights conversion and treat her with some nice oe driving lamps. it will compliment the respray and looking at the condition of everything else you'll have yourself one lovely looking pug.

,in at 9 in the morning, should be painted for 2pm,

We're waiting.... ;)

Just kidding, but I hope it all went well fella, and get yourself a tripod before taking the next round of pictures! :)

Each to their own of course, but I prefer a bit of variety myself. We apply a rota system at work, and after my week in the booth throwing paint over 60 or more cars, and only ever seeing the inside of the booth or mixing room, I'm ready for a break and it's a relief to see the outside world again and get the chance to do something different :)

just about done now,its looking good if i do say so myself, just finished putting rest of trim on and sorting clips and stuff out, only thing my rear wipers packed in so im trying to get 1,looks miles better with the trim on,i went for black instead of the dark grey with a matt clear over the top,i could do with some new red inserts tho.

Somehow I managed to miss these pictures!

That's a nice roomy booth you've got there, I'm just a bit jealous!

It's looking good from the pictures, but I can't wait to see the finished article really. I'm glad you went with black for the trims (as I did). Although it may upset the purists, I think they look so much better, especially when it's a proper black. (even the OE black trims look a little grey to me). I ended up using Lechler plastic primer tinted with a little black base, covered with a matt clear, and I reckon they look great.

Are your inserts damaged or just faded? I repainted mine in cherry red and they really stand out now.

Keep us posted :)

the colour is ewt blanc meiji and its just straight gloss solid colur and yes i also think the trims look miles better matt black than dark grey, some of the red trim inserts are damaged and faded, how much would a new set be.i did think about trying to straighten them out and repaint them red though,,ive just got a couple of things left to sort out like the matt black on the door frames and slam panel and also the handle now leaks on my sunroof, ill just get some dab off glass sealer from work and seal the 2 buttons on the glass,i was gona do it like a purply colour like the colour on the mark 1 escorts 1300 sports,i think it was called violet surprise but changed my mind at last minute and im pleased i did as im wanting to keep it original as possible

I think the bumper stripe is about fifteen quid and each side trim stripe about eight quid each

If I remember right the whole set of inserts come to £47, priced it up last year though so it might have gone up a bit. That's from Pug by the way.

Sounds roughly about the same as what I paid at Neat Autos for mine last summer.
