I'm not searching on "words" - I'm searching through members posts - I've been through all Savleoy's from today to 2004 and I can't find his posts about his Omex conversion and results.

 

Yeah, wouldn't mind a read of those if you find them :wacko:

Did you read the link Cybernck posted above?

 

it involved deleting technical posts from 2005 and older from online version of the forum,

but i will go through those soon and harvest them into a FAQ / KnowledgeBase system,

so all the valuable information posted in the past isn't simply lost smile.gif.

So, here I go.

Omex Engine management, flowed head, 8V liners, turbo diesel flywheel(lightened/balanced), Mi16 crankshaft(lightened/balanced), flowed throttle body, shortened inlet pipework with carbon airbox, std turbo with 360 degree thrust bearing running 1.3 bar(19 psi), 220 bhp @ 6150 rpm and 240 lb/ft torque @ 4500 rpm.

Yes sir. The head has been lightly skimmed, so the CR is a touch higher than the 8.8:1 that TT states.
