Problems With Electrics

Recommended Posts

Its a 1988 Phase 1 i believe, the reverse lights are part of the rear cluster.

Ok, that means its unlikely to be a corroded plug as I mentioned in my last reply.

I've merged both of the topics you had running for the same problems into this one.

Graham.

You do have a bulb and a bit of wire though :(

Forgive my stupidity, but do you get two pieces of wire one either side of the bulb and then the opposite sides go into the two slots for either side of where the fuse was? :o

Put one wire to the body of the car, anything made of metal on the main structure will do, cars use the body (or earth) as negative.

Then put the other into the fuse slot. One of them should have 12v, the back one IIRC.
