Tachymetric Relay Insight

Wondering if anyone has any insight, currently rebuilding a Peugeot 205 GTi Mrk 1 and using an old loom. However, the tachymetric relay to injection loom has been adapted and I am unsure what has changed and why?

Does anyone know what could have been connected or changed?

Early models had the relay in a box, on the chassis rail, behind the LH headlight. Later models have the relay positioned near the ECU. If doing a proper resto, you need to work out the position for your year model and rewire as per the wiring diagram.
