Any tips for replacing a heater matrix? (306)

yeah surely coolant wouldn't separate from water like that? And yeah I do, do you think the drain plugs in that could be to blame?

I can't remember if 306's are the same, but I know on 205's if you don't fit the scuttle panel cover properly you get water in the footwell when it rains, so worth double checking that if it doesn't taste sweet.

Well annoyingly I've not cleaned the carpet since coolant leaked from before I changed the matrix so it probably will taste of coolant anyway. 

I'll check the scuttle panel out as well cheers

there is also a cover for the heater inlet from memory with the 306.

 

could be blocked drain tubes in the sunroof, or damaged door membranes, shrunk rear quarter seals.
