Dry build starred quite a lot of metal is needed to be removed from the heads to allow the cams to turn

The bottom end was built up today and the head us being shimmed up as we speak

Engine all together just waiting for some shims for the valve clearances and fuel rail and trumpets the trumpets fitted where just for mesurement purposes

Whats with the cam carrier caps?

He made the caps to allow easier shimming as with the cam box on you struggle to get in

its bolted to something on the bench, probably part of an engine stand.

Levitation lol its bolted the a plate that has a round bar that then slots into another tube fixed to the bench this the allows the engine to be rotated at ninety degrees throughout it's full axis for working on

Tbh the trumpet size is a bit of a trial and error witj various lengths and diameters being tried

Be interesting to see how you get on with that exhaust, The tunnel needs a fair amount of work at a guess to fit it as the 4-2-1 version I do just about fits in the gap. From a friend of mine asking them they did not say they knew what was needed

It might also cause issues with the satch shift. I had to move mine over on the subframe.

Satchshift for sale tractive ordered so will free up tunnel a bit more plus if I've to modify I've plenty of paint

Clip from mapping and dyno time more than happy with results running almost identical power and torque as Pete mad scientists 2.2 Just need to get her slipped into the car
