New Car Build

Recommended Posts

hudson

Thought I'd share some pics of my new build Tarmac 205 I bought the shell from Wales a couple of years ago and have had it stripped at Ribbletech in Preston. She then went to Triple R Motorsport for seam welding and cage fitting I opted for a t45 custom cages weld in cage once fit it went over to Rogerson of Bayhorse for a full paint job.Once she was painted I then delivered her to Newton Motorsport where we will commence the build.

For choice of motor I'm going all steel Dry sumped 2 litre using Oreca internals and 48mm throttle body's and Dta S60 management.Suspension will be swapped from my old car three way Proflex and the gearbox for the time being will be my quaife gear kit five speed but next year once enough cash has been found I'll be going tractive six speed sequential

This seems to be coming together nicely! Very interested in hands-on experience with the dash. Is it going to be mounted on the steering wheel?

I'm planning on mounting dash to a piece of carbon then into existing clock pod using just part of the original dash
