Initially, I thought working on the car for a few days would be great. Spread out the time and not kill myself.

 

However, I have ended taking more and more time in completing it. I spent 3 hours just on the bonnet.

 

I imagine in all I have spent over 20 hours on this one.

 

It has been fun though. Probably as it the car reminds me of my only other GTI I owned in the early 90's.

Well that's it. Adam picked up his Pug today.

 

He appeared well chuffed. Hopefully, he will add a comment or two to the thread.

 

I just have to advise him how to look after the paintwork now. No £5 car washes. ????

Amazing work by Glen. He's a lovely guy, could've chatted for hours!

 

Can't recommend him enough although his prices certainly need to go up!!

 

Drove to work this evening through the centre of London. On 3 seperate occasions people stopped to take photos/comment on it whilst I was sat in traffic! If that's not a testament to his work then I don't know what is!

 

Highly recommended!
