What happened to the Toyota Starlet barn find thread?

 

 

The thread starter wasn't happy with the replies so they locked it and then a mod removed it.

 

 

I liked it. I have to admit I was surprised by all the negative comments.

 

That thread was mine and as Daviewonder says everyone just slated it. So as jackherer also says i locked it to prevent anymore unappreciative dickheads from opening their big mouths. I won't bother contributing in the future.

 

Just for anyone wondering though the car got stripped of everything inside and out and the rolling shell complete with drivers seat and running engine was sold for £100 to go banger racing. I don't know how well it did.

Well I have no wish to be the center of ridicule again so have no wish to re-instate it

 

Ironically the guys who bought the starlet have also bought a base model 205 to banger too and gave me the pick of the interior, unfortunately this was after most things were removed with a crowbar like the entire dashboard and door cards all window rubbers were cut off windscreen kicked out etc but i did get a nice pair of valeo headlights phase 2 rear clusters front mudflaps and even an original radio
