On my car at present is a nearly new Ph 1 middle and back box.

In my garage i have a modified GTI6 downpipe (that fits my adjusted manifold nicely). The straight section of pipe on it is 2", it's then built up to 2.25" inch. This downpipe and the stainless steel looking thing with the cherry bomb looking thing both came with my engine when i bought it.

I also have a new Ph1 downpipe without the split, and an older Ph1 downpipe with split (on my car at the min)

I have a fabricator/welder guy who's going to come to the car and do whatever is needed, and bring whatever pipe i ask him to.

My intention is to replace the straight bit on the GTI6 down pipe with 2.25"

I can get a new Ph2 middle box fairly cheap on ECP.

So, my exh would consist of GTI6 downpipe with 2.25" horizontal, into a Ph2 middle box.

I want a quiet exh, but don't want to sacrafice any performance.

Is the Ph1 end box too small? would i be best just getting the Ph2 end box too?

Advice please

TIA
