Installing Mp3.1, A Further Update

no, S16 uses 3 pin bosch ICV.

that motronic MP3.1 which come from peugeot have no signal for icv and lambda sensor.

 

any idea...?

I havent had any problems with the Lambda, added one wire to pin 8.

 

as for the ICV, I guess you'll need to ask the member that posted this thread

what should I do to know that pin 8 has a signal?is is negatif signal?

on that thread mention that the ecu needs remapped ("....to tell ecu use lambda, not use pot mix), did you do that?

and what the function of pin 10 and 27....

 

should i disconnect the CO mix pot?

 

really appriciated....

no, no remap, have to disconnect CO pot as Lambda uses those wires.

It's very possible that the mp3.1 ecu from a Pug won't support the icv installation unless it had it originally.

 

Fitting a lambda uses one pin different to the mix pot & they used MP3.1 with the function so the ecu support it.

 

Did the S1 106 rallye have an icv fitted? If it had (my autodata says only some models) then this might be the best ecu to use, assuming you can find one & that uses a three pin icv, switched feed from double relay & two wires back to the ecu.

 

You won't be able to measure the voltages from the ecu from pins 33 & 34 imo, you need an oscilliscope not just a multimeter as they use a wave pattern.
