Are you using the original turbo flywheel and CPS?

no 205 flywheel and cps. ive made a bracket so the cps is sitting in the right positin on the flywheel. and it is sending a signal. havent had chance to get out in the evenings yet but hopefully can tonight to get cracking.

the one that was on my original 1.9 engine. f reg. ive been told i need the turbo flywheel and mi16 clutch with turbo cps. so engine out job.

There is your problem. You need to use a flywheel with the timing ring on it.

Not an engine out job, just the gearbox.

 

You need an Mi16 or GTI6 flywheel though.

As said, you need a flywheel with timing teeth and the right CPS.

no, you need the XU10 flywheel form a car with a BE box, the XU10 turbo used an ME or ML box with a much larger clutch which wont fit in the BE bellhousing.
