yeah I never read the 1st post about it being on TV. Too good to be true. If the stig did a 2:20 in a 1.1 diesel..... I reckon the GTI would have scubbed the Brittish cars....

I do get the humour of the programme but he still could of got a Gti and now we have got a xr3i on it, he should of used that to start with

i think the challenge we need to accomplish is getting a GTi around the hethel test track and see whats the best we can do it in.
