hi i have had this problem for quite some time it seems to only occur when engine is cold and on light throttle cant hear it when it is warm, it dose pink briefly when warm when you open it right up from any revs but then stops! engine is healthy it shows 185/190 psi across all cylinders i have replaced many items just to get it running sweet atp recon afm h&h recon dizzy new coil plugs known good ignition amp car is a standard 1988 1.9gti bar k&n induction kit doesn't appear to be any air leaks and dizzy is set in the standard position and i run tesco 99 my only thought is fueling as it all so doesn't seem to pull from 4500 to redline as fast as i can remember my other gti's doing i was going to get some cleaned injectors to give that a try as the car was sat for 9 year prior to me having it but have done near 10000 miles since then and i would have thought that would be good enough for a blow out ! i was going to have it on a rolling road just to see what it is doing fueling wise but before i wast £70 on rr would be nice if there was any suggestions any help much appreciated as rather frustrated
