  1. Hi all, As I've been reading it's become apparerent that although I've stripped and cleaned various bits like the throttle body, breathers and AFM independentley it might be wise to give my 205 a good blast of carb' cleaner to give it a good clean through to finish the job. The question is (please don't laugh) - how do I do this? Do I administer the carb' cleaner whilst the engine is running and if so, where do I spray it into the engine? My common sense is telling me not to spray it into the air intake as it will go through the AFM and air filter - should I perhaps disconnect the SAD pipe and spray it in there so it goes more or less straight into the inlet manifold? I seem to remember a mate of mine spraying carb' cleaner through my first car (16 Ford Escort Ghia) about 17 years ago with it running but it was a long time ago. IIRC he just took the top off the airbox and sprayed it straight in but I'm not sure about my 205 as it is running the standard injection system and I don't want to break anything! :-) Any advice would be appreciated.
