    Hi all, well after doing a GTI6 engine in my 91 CTI I wanted a new project for the winter! So after looking around for a few months I found a local 1.9 GTI from a barn clearance! Its a 1993 white GTI non sun roof with 3 owners before me 120k and loads of paper work. So I went to look at it and almost walked away as the guy wanted too much but in the end we did a deal and met in the middle He even delivered it for me although he did replace the broken indicators before I picked it up just incase I drove it home. So its been sat for 18 months in a barn so after a quick hose down in his yard heres some pic's once it was pulled out of the barn. Rear beam was ok and it started up fine with no smoke etc. It ticks over better then my old 8v in the CTI ever did!!!
