  • Short Description French spec 205 rallye that I bought in France a number of years ago.
  • Car Type / Usage Show or Concours car
  • Engine & Gearbox Standard just stripped cleaned soda blasted and rebuilt with all bolts/brackets re-plated yellow. Engine had new pistons/liners and crankshaft/ flywheel/ clutch plate, polished balanced.
  • Suspension & Steering Lowered 30mm front springs and rear adjusted to match new front and rear shock absorbers. Rebuilt rear axle with genuine Peugeot parts. Yellow beam colour matched as best we could to old beam colour.
  • Brakes New standard components other than braided brake lines replacing rubber ones. New solid brake lines all round made by myself from cunifer.
  • Wheels & Tyres Standard painted body colour of car and possibly the last set of new steel wheels off the shelf from Peugeot for the 205 french rallye.
  • Bodywork & Exterior Standard with PTS stripes (thanks to Jonny Goodhand). A period Northern Ireland, county Antrim 3 digit number plate.
    Full bare metal respray with soda blasted shell, new doors (rippled stupid) new tailgate and bonnet.
  • Interior & ICE Standard but re trimmed seats by Aldridge trim company in Wolverhampton (same people who do an excellent job on many concours mk2 escort interiors). PTS flame logos, thanks to Jonny Goodhand
  • Comments & Plans General maintance and a few shows etc.
