Engine & GearboxSkip Brown 1.9 16v controlled by an Emerald K3 Ecu utilising an 8 injector setup. Sandy/Satchell Inlet Manifold. Expertly mapped by Sandy. Pace Dry Sump to eliminate Oil issues. Maniflow system with Sebring back box. Uprated fuel pump. Shortened double core Radtec Radiator designed by me to allow a more direct cold air feed using carbs/bodies. 6 speed box and Quaife Atb diff.
Suspension & SteeringFront : Modified Bilstein Tarmac Spec shocks, 450lb Eibach 8"Springs. Rose Jointed adjustable wishbones, BBM top mounts.
Rear : 28mm Arb, 25mm Tb's. Modified Rear beam to accept modified 306 rear mounts. Effectively lowering the rear approx 50mm without adjusting the traling arms. Machined trailing arms to give camber and toe. Bilstein tarmac rears.
BrakesFront : Brembo 205 4 pots, 288mm discs. Pagid Blues or Ferodo Ds2500 pads. Braided flexis etc.
Rear : Standard....... Drums :-)
Wheels & TyresWheels : 1.9 Speedlines, Speedline SL434's Speedline Corsa comp 2's Tyres either and/or : Toyo R888 Toyo Tr1's Dunlop DZ03's 20mm hubcentric spacers on front dependant on which wheel I'm using. 5mm spacers on rear.
Bodywork & ExteriorStandard apart from painted plastic trim, 3bar grill. Gutmann rear roof spoiler and bonnet catches. Moulded Poly Rear Window and Opening Rear Quarters
Interior & ICEStripped, Buckets, 6 Point Sd Cage. Stack gauges. Sound system consists of 4 45mm trumpets connected to a Jenvey Amp which passes through a Sandy/Satchell Crossover, which is fed by a modded 16v Head Unit :-)
Comments & PlansAbsolutely love it, surprises many a car on track and get lots of positive comments. Theres always something to improve but other than a swirl pot to cure fuel starvation issues I think tuition is my only other plans..........at the moment.
