Dan Ingram 1 Posted January 9, 2009 I'm in the middle of my GTi6 conversion and was planing to fire it up tonight but I seem to have misplaced my earth lead. I'll have to make a new one up tomorrow but I cant remember where the earth from the battery goes to. I'm sure there was one wire going to the gearbox but its been that long since I took it all out I cant remember. Any ideas?
oli-pug 6 2 Cars Posted January 9, 2009 I have a two outlet terminal with one lead off to the gearbox and the other the ns inner wing

Rom 0 Posted January 9, 2009 I think originally, they go to the stud on the NS wing, below shock mount. Where the Coil and amp live. And the other is to the gearbox. Anywhere with a decent connection will do.
