Who can tell me the sort of fuel consumption people are roughly getting from there 205 gti6 conversions. Without a heavy right foot all the time!

Appreciated

320-350 miles to a tank on cruising speed with an mi16 box, am on TBs but doesnt make much difference compared to other 6'd 205s - should be about 300miles a tank at least :)

Ok, Thanks for all ur input guys! I currently have an 8v turbo 1.9 but am contemplating doing an gti6 conversion. Been putting it off for ages as am worried about the extra weight over the front of the 205!

Is your 1.9 a TT conversion?

No its not an original TT conversion if your interested in buying it that is ? it is along the same lines. I have been outta the 205 scene for the past 3 yrs. Only recently just got back into it my last 205 in 2005 was a TT work done by Paul Higgs and Michael Clark at 205 parts.

It is still on there 205 parts web site under projects (miami blue 1.9 TT)

I never have been a fan of the 8 valve lumps even with a turbo. Want to try the gti 6 lump now
