Gearbox Oil Leak

I noticed that there is a major leak under the gearbox especially after the engine gets got.. It will make little oil puddles everywhere.

Im quite sure its G/B oil. It seems that its coming from the top side of the G/B but I didnt have the time to have a look yet. I'll most probably check tomorrow.

Any clues before I remove half of the engine bay on to the porch?

boxes dont leak from the top, most likely its the driveshaft oil seals and the oil is just flicking upwards of the shafts when driving. To replace you need to remove driveshafts which means draing the oil first. Should cost under £15 for both seals from pug.

 

Also worth checking the O ring's on the speedometer drive and the speedometer cable
