Size Of Pin Between Clutch Arm And Lever

Recommended Posts

Kennyb

Ok after my clutch cable just snapped i've lost the piece of metal that sits in the little diverts between the clutch arm and release lever !!! silly design really as this is the third i've lost in all my 205's.......usually i make a spare to the same size but cant find my spare...

Could anyone tell me the size of it so I can cut another from a bolt? .....cheers

Those bloody things are the pinnacle of all stupidity, i drilled mine and put a bit of wire through it and round one of the lugs on the gearbox so if it does drop out again after a clutch cable goes, it dosn't fall down the nearest manhole.

Will measure up for you tomorrow when I find it in the daylight if you still need the measurements.

41.2 x 8.0mm

I drilled a 2mm hole in the middle of mine and it's now lockwired to the box so if it falls out it doesn't go very far!
