Best Way To Rid Engine Of Watery Oil?

Recommended Posts

Ive just done a head gasket job on my 1.6, it had blown properly and the oil looked like cappucino. Anyway its all back up and running with fresh oils etc but the new oil already looks messy and watery due to the residue of the old oil. Whats the best way to rid the engine of this? I dont want to go through 15/20 litres of oil!!

I was hoping to dump this load and fill it with good stuff and genuine filter.

What we did when the headgasket went on mine earlier this month was run through some really thin flushing oil, which still came out very watery, then took the sump and rocker cover off, and blasted it through with an airline. (just dont get it in your face, like I did.. :D) It seemed to do the trick, then filled it up with decent oil.
