Conrod Length

how long are the conrods of a mi16 1.9? (standard)

 

looked all over the forum, internet and the haynes. no luck. :lol:

 

anybody got one on hand to measure or even better know the length?

I know they're the same length as the 8 valver, and have seen a few mentions of 143mm.

Yes they're the same length/diameter as 8v ones :lol:

 

Length - 143mm

Gudgeon pin hole diameter - 22mm (-0.041 -0.029mm)

Crankshaft/big end bearing hole diameter - 53.695mm (+0.013 +0mm)

sorry for the Hijack :D I would like to fit 16v pistons to 8v rods and have been told that the width variesfrom the 8v to the 1.9 MI rod/piston combination though the gudgeon pins are both 22mm.

I see :) well i did a bit of investigation trough my OE Peugeot documentations but unfortunately theres nothing listed regarding this measurement for which you're after .. sorry !
